The Center of Historical, Archaeological, and Cultural Heritage
The Department of Archaeological Studies aims to develop archaeological knowledge and prepare plans and ideas that contribute to the preservation of Yemeni antiquities.
Tasks and specializations:
· Preparing plans and ideas about Yemeni antiquities, their conditions, and the requirements for their care, and facilitating researchers’ access to them.
· Collaborating with the General Authority of Antiquities in everything that contributes to the care and protection of antiquities.
· Cooperating with relevant bodies working in the field of archaeology in Yemen.
· Contributing to spreading archaeological awareness in Yemeni society and encouraging inclinations towards antiquities.
