Today, Saturday, the regular meeting of the Development and Quality Assurance Council at Sana’a Sana’a University was held, chaired by Prof. Huda Ali Al-Imad, Dean of the Center. The meeting was attended by the Vice Deans for Quality, members of the Development Council, and System Administrators from the faculties.
\nAt the outset of the meeting, Prof. Al-Imad expressed her gratitude to the members of both councils for their efforts in completing the final stage of programmatic and institutional accreditation.
\nShe stated, “The meeting between the faculty committees, the Vice Deans for Quality, and the accreditation board committees to finalize the accreditation certificates and review the faculties’ infrastructure was a success, and the responses to the inquiries were very satisfactory.”
\nProf. Al-Imad stressed the importance of being well-prepared for the upcoming period to respond effectively to the accreditation board\u2019s observations. She urged providing solid evidence and documentation to support responses and emphasized the need to present these materials to the Development Center for review before submitting them to the accreditation board.
\nShe also highlighted the necessity of linking the faculties’ websites to the Development Center\u2019s site to ensure compliance with regulations, guidelines, and standards. If linking occurs from any other site, content translation will not be necessary.
\nShe reminded the Vice Deans and System Administrators that no content, including programs, study plans, or any materials requiring accreditation decisions from the Vice Deans for Quality, should be uploaded to the websites without prior approval from the university\u2019s Rector.
\nShe instructed the Vice Deans for Quality and System Administrators to submit a detailed report by Monday, January 20, 2025, covering the review of each faculty’s website, as well as the improvements, developments, and updates made throughout the current year.
\nAdditionally, she directed those Vice Deans who had not yet submitted the faculty\u2019s executive plan, the strategic plan for the Quality Unit, and the report on the accreditation committees\u2019 visit to do so promptly, both in paper and electronic formats, by Sunday, January 19, 2025.
\nThe meeting also covered various topics concerning the work mechanisms for programmatic and institutional accreditation stages, and appropriate decisions were made accordingly.<\/p>\n
