Sana\u2019a \u2013 Tuesday, October 28, 2025\u200e<\/p>\n

Under the auspices of Prof. Mohammed Al-Bukhaiti, President of Sana\u2019a University, the \u200eAcademic Development and Quality Assurance Center organized a workshop on \u200e\u200e\u201cMeasuring Learning Outcomes and Test Construction\u201d on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, \u200etargeting faculty members and teaching assistants at the Faculty of Education, Humanities, \u200eand Applied Sciences \u2013 Khawlan.\u200e<\/p>\n

At the beginning of the workshop, Dr. Nasser Hasel, the Faculty\u2019s Dean, welcomed the \u200eparticipants and commended the efforts of the Academic Development and Quality \u200eAssurance Center in supporting colleges and enhancing the academic assessment and \u200eevaluation competencies of faculty members.\u200e<\/p>\n

Prof. Huda Al-Emad, Dean of the Academic Development and Quality Assurance Center, \u200epraised the leadership of the college and its academic and administrative teams for their \u200ecommitment to improving academic performance quality. She emphasized the importance of \u200eactivating quality practices that contribute to improving educational processes and outcomes \u200ewithin the college.\u200e<\/p>\n

The workshop included a range of theoretical and practical activities, focusing on \u200edeveloping learning outcome matrices and formulating exam questions aligned with \u200eintended learning goals and expected outcomes.\u200e
\nLed by Dr. Ali Shamlan, the workshop aimed to strengthen the faculty\u2019s capacity to design \u200eand construct effective and objective examinations that accurately reflect the skills and \u200eknowledge targeted in course syllabus, ensuring alignment with quality and accreditation \u200estandards.\u200e<\/p>\n

The workshop concluded with an affirmation of the need to continue organizing similar \u200etraining activities, given their positive impact on enhancing educational quality and \u200eimproving overall academic performance at the college.\u200e<\/p>\n

The event was attended by Dr. Abdulkhaleq Al-Dhabiani, Vice Dean for Quality Affairs, \u200ealong with other vice deans, department heads, faculty members, and administrative staff \u200efrom relevant departments.\u200e<\/p>\n
