Today in Sana’a, the second scientific conference was held to discuss the graduation research of the second batch of doctors from the Faculty of Applied Medical Sciences at the Sana’a University.<\/p>\n

The conference discussed 10 scientific studies conducted by 96 students from the departments of Anesthesia, Physical Therapy, Clinical Nutrition, and Radiology, under the supervision of several professors and academics from the college. The studies covered various fields and health issues, focusing on community health concerns.<\/p>\n

In his opening remarks, Dr. Khaled Al-Khamesy, Dean of the Faculty of Applied Medical Sciences, emphasized the importance of discussing graduation research, which embodies the spirit of competition among students. He regarded the discussion of these studies as a qualitative leap in scientific research, contributing to the body of research at the university and Faculty, and enhancing their citation rates, thereby improving the college’s global ranking.<\/p>\n

Dr. Al-Khamesy assured that the Faculty of Applied Medical Sciences will continue its academic contributions despite the difficult circumstances facing the country, highlighting the quality of the 10 diverse research studies discussed at the conference, which are closely linked to the needs of the healthcare sector, making them a significant resource for evidence-based professional practice.<\/p>\n

During the opening of the conference, attended by Dr. Mohammed Al-Shahari \u00a0and heads of departments from the medical Faculty, Student Mohammed Ashish, Deputy Responsible for the University Student Forum, noted that the student research presented reflects significant effort and challenges undertaken amidst current difficulties, showcasing a student spirit of responsibility and determination.<\/p>\n

He praised the pivotal role of the Faculty of Applied Medical Sciences in supporting academic programs and aiding the efforts of students and researchers.<\/p>\n

The Graduate student Yasmin Al-Kabsi, representing the organizing committee of the conference, expressed gratitude to all who contributed to equipping students with scientific knowledge and medical skills, preparing them for the job market to serve the community and the nation, and acknowledged the efforts and cooperation of everyone involved in organizing the conference.<\/p>\n

The conference was attended by several academics, students, and officials from the University Student Forum.<\/p>\n
