Sana\u2019a \u2013 The Faculty of Applied Medical Sciences at Sana\u2019a University celebrated today the graduation of its second cohort of students for the academic year 2024\u20132025, in a joyful ceremony attended by a number of academics, faculty members, and department heads.<\/p>\n
\u200fAt the beginning of the event, Professor Dr. Khaled Al-Khamesy, Dean of the Faculty, congratulated the graduates and their families on this significant achievement. He conveyed the warm congratulations and best wishes of the University President, Professor Dr. Mohammed Al-Bukhaiti, and praised the dedication of the families who supported their children throughout their academic journey to this advanced stage of higher education.<\/p>\n
\u200fDr. Al-Khamesy emphasized that the Faculty is steadily advancing towards academic excellence. Among the most notable recent accomplishments, he highlighted the Faculty\u2019s independence in a dedicated building, and the near completion of the expansion project of the Prosthetics, Orthotics, and Physical Therapy building, which will further enhance practical training environments and support the development of academic programs<\/p>\n
He also expressed his deep appreciation for the pivotal role of the faculty members, recognizing them as true partners in this success and key contributors to the qualitative transformations witnessed by the Faculty and the University in recent years.<\/p>\n
\u200fDr. Al-Khamesy urged the graduates to uphold professional ethics and embrace values of compassion, humanity, and dignity \u2014 the very principles they pledged to honor as they enter the healthcare profession. He stressed that the nation counts on them to contribute meaningfully to society and the advancement of the health sector.<\/p>\n
\u200fHe also extended sincere thanks to the International Committee of the Red Cross for its continuous support of the Faculty\u2019s programs and facilities since its inception, particularly in enhancing technical and training capacities.<\/p>\n
\u200fIn the speech delivered by Mohammed Muthanna on behalf of the University Student Union, he expressed pride in this group of graduates, noting that the ceremony marks the culmination of a journey filled with challenges and sustained effort throughout their academic years<\/p>\n
On behalf of the Graduation Preparatory Committee, graduate Bashar Ghalis delivered a heartfelt message of gratitude to their esteemed professors and all those who contributed to enriching their scientific and clinical skills. Despite the difficult circumstances the country has faced, he affirmed that these challenges did not deter the graduates from pursuing their education; rather, they fueled their determination to achieve excellence and build a promising professional future. He reaffirmed their full commitment to serving the community and working diligently under all conditions, as a religious and moral obligation.<\/p>\n
