Sana\u2019a University Rector, Prof. Mohammed Ahmed Al-Bukhaiti, affirmed that \u200ecommemorating the birth of the Prophet Mohammed (peace and blessings be upon him) \u200erepresents an opportunity to reflect on the noble values embodied by the Prophet, \u200eparticularly knowledge, ethics, compassion, and responsibility. He commended the role of \u200ethe Faculty of Applied Medical Sciences in preparing qualified healthcare professionals \u200eand advancing the standards of education and academic training.\u200e
\nHe made the remarks during his participation today in a commemorative ceremony \u200eorganized by the Faculty of Applied Medical Sciences to mark the anniversary of the \u200eProphet\u2019s birth, held in Jaber Hall at the Faculty of Medicine, in the presence of the \u200eFaculty Dean, Vice Deans, faculty members, administrative and technical staff, and male \u200eand female students.\u200e<\/h2>\n

The University Rector praised the efforts of the Faculty\u2019s leadership, faculty members, \u200eand students in developing the educational process and enhancing academic performance. \u200eHe stressed the importance of continuing efforts to improve the quality of educational \u200eand training programs in order to prepare healthcare professionals capable of serving \u200esociety and contributing to the development of the health sector.\u200e<\/h2>\n

Prof. Khaled Al-Khamisi, Dean of the Faculty of Applied Medical Sciences, welcomed \u200ethe attendees, emphasizing that the occasion provides an opportunity to draw inspiration \u200efrom Prophetic values in the pursuit of knowledge and professional work and to \u200estrengthen the ethical and professional responsibility of students in health-related \u200edisciplines.\u200e<\/h2>\n

He noted that preparing medical and healthcare professionals is not only limited to \u200eimparting knowledge and professional skills, but also encompasses building well-rounded \u200eindividuals grounded in humanitarian and ethical values, thereby enhancing the quality of \u200eprofessional practice and service to patients and society.\u200e<\/h2>\n

The celebration also featured a speech by the University Student Forum, which \u200eemphasized the importance of fostering a spirit of cooperation and belonging to the \u200eFaculty and encouraging students to continue their academic pursuits and strive for \u200eacademic excellence while making the most of their university years to build successful \u200eprofessional futures.\u200e<\/h2>\n

The event featured religious chants and praise recitations in honor of the Prophet \u200eMohammed (peace and blessings be upon him), reflecting the spiritual character of the \u200eoccasion and drawing enthusiastic engagement from the attendees.\u200e<\/h2>\n

At the conclusion of the event, the University Rector, the Faculty Dean, and department \u200eheads honored outstanding and top-performing male and female students from various \u200eacademic levels and programs in recognition of their academic excellence and efforts and \u200eto motivate them to continue striving for excellence and achievement.\u200e<\/h2>\n

The Faculty leadership affirmed that honoring outstanding students forms part of its \u200eefforts to support academic excellence and motivate students to develop their academic \u200eand professional capabilities, thereby enhancing the quality of educational outcomes and \u200esupplying the labor market and health sector with qualified professionals.\u200e<\/h2>\n
