Wednesday, July 1, 2026<\/strong><\/p>\n SANA\u2019A, YEMEN \u2014Faculty of Commerce and Economics at Sana\u2019a University held an academic workshop today to officially review, approve, and launch a new Public Administration program within the Department of Political Science. The milestone event was held under the auspices of University Rector Prof. Mohammed Ahmed Al-Bukhaiti, in collaboration with the Academic Development and Quality Assurance Center (ADQAC).<\/strong>
\nIn his opening remarks, Faculty Dean Dr. Hani Al-Mughalles welcomed the attending academics, researchers, and students, thanking them for their active participation in this significant academic development.<\/strong>
\nDr. Al-Mughalles emphasized the critical role the Public Administration program will play in supplying the public sector with highly qualified professionals trained in the fundamentals and modern methodologies of public management. He congratulated the Department of Political Science on this achievement and praised Academic Development and Quality Assurance Center for its vital role in developing and finalizing the program’s specification framework.<\/strong>
\nDr. Noha Al-Sedmi, Vice Dean for Student Affairs and Chair of the Political Science Department, presented the comprehensive program specification document. She explained that Public Administration will serve as a specialized track within the political science major, specifically designed to prepare graduates to effectively manage public affairs across government institutions and public organizations.<\/strong>
\nBalancing theoretical foundations with practical application, the curriculum aims to graduate professionals equipped to optimize government performance and elevate the quality of public services. The presented document detailed the program’s overview, mission, core objectives, teaching methodologies, assessment strategies, and specialized coursework.<\/strong>
\nFollowing the presentation, the floor was opened for an interactive discussion. Attending academics, researchers, and community stakeholders shared feedback, offering valuable insights, suggestions, and recommendations aimed at further strengthening the curriculum and enhancing graduate outcomes.<\/strong>
