Childhood Center for Early Intervention Services (CCEIS)

Center’s Establishment

In line with Sana’a University’s commitment to childhood and early intervention, the University has been providing high-quality services for children. It has established four developmental kindergartens distributed across various university colleges, centers, and facilities following the activation of the Rector’s decision number (149) for the year 1444 Hijri regarding the amendment of the name of (Early Childhood Care and Development Center) to (Childhood Center for Early Intervention Services).

Vision

To achieve scientific, academic, research-oriented, and technological excellence to elevate childhood and early intervention services for children locally and regionally.

 Mission

The center seeks to provide distinguished scientific, academic, research-oriented, and technological services in childhood and early intervention for children by preparing qualified staff through specialized graduate programs in childhood and early intervention, as well as educational, training, and cultural programs, and early intervention services that contribute to the early upbringing of young children in collaboration with families, individuals, and relevant bodies locally and regionally.

 

Aims

  1. To contribute to the achievement of the University’s goals and activate its role in serving early childhood education locally and regionally.
  2. To stimulate the potential of the Center and University affiliates and activate their role in conducting high-quality scientific research to serve relevant bodies in the community.
  3. To develop high-quality and specialized graduate programs in accordance with the Center’s established vision, mission, and aims.
  4. To prepare and implement training and qualification programs for the center, University, and community affiliates within the framework of the University’s plans.
  5. To provide an educational environment for early childhood education and early intervention for children within the University.
  6. To provide studies, research, consultations, and specialized services to state institutions across all sectors, and to propose opinions and solutions for issues referred to it as a center of expertise.
  7. To encourage participation in the exchange of scientific and service expertise, and conduct research and activities with similar centers, institutions, and relevant entities in a manner that achieves the goals of the center and the University, subject to the approval of the University council and under the supervision of the rector.
  8. To provide consulting, scientific, academic, research-oriented, technological, training, awareness, cultural, and qualification services to children, individuals, employees, families, and entities, thus enhancing the University’s role in serving the community.
  9. To prepare academically and professionally qualified staff in the fields of childhood, early childhood, kindergartens, and nurseries, meeting the needs of the community and integration into related institutions.
  10. To expand the opening of graduate programs at the center (diploma, master’s, doctorate) in specialized tracks in childhood: (autism, speech and language, cerebral palsy, physical therapy, production of educational games and programs for children, behavioral and emotional disorders, hyperactivity and attention deficit).
