Students of English and Translation Department at National University Conduct Field Visit to CCTLT

The Community Center for Translation and Language Teaching (CCTLT) at Sana’a University today hosted a field visit by 13 female students from the Department of English and Translation at National University, accompanied by Dr. Anhar Al-Ahmar.
The students were welcomed by Dr. Faisal Al-Dawli, Head of the Translation Unit at the Center, along with Ms. Saba Al-Arshani, Head of Public Relations, and other translators.
During the visit, the students observed the translation workflow in practice and learned from the experiences of the translators in the Center’s Translation Unit. Short presentations were also held on general translation, exposing the students to practical training in modern translation techniques and methods.
The students received a detailed explanation of the types of documents translated at the Center, as well as the procedures for receiving, translating, and reviewing them. Specialists also explained the challenges translators face, common errors in document translation, and the methods used to address various translation-related issues.
At the conclusion of the visit, the students expressed their sincere gratitude and appreciation to the Center’s administration and staff for their warm reception and for facilitating the field visit. They also acknowledged the Center’s important role in preparing and qualifying translators and in ensuring the quality of translation in Yemen.
