Sana’a University CCTLT Board of Directors Holds Fourth Regular Meeting for ‎Academic Year 2025/1447 Hijri

The Board of Directors of the Community Center for Translation and Language Teaching at ‎Sana’a University held its fourth regular meeting for the academic year 2025/1447Hijri. The ‎meeting was chaired by Prof. Zaid Ali Al-Warith, Assistant to the University President for ‎Centers’ Affairs, on behalf of the Chairman of the Center’s Board, Prof. Mohammed ‎Ahmed Al-Bukhaiti, President of the University.‎
The meeting was attended by the Center’s Director, Prof. Ibraheem Tagaddeen, the Deputy ‎Director, Dr. Yahya Ubaid, the Center’s advisors, heads of academic departments, and ‎representatives of foreign languages and graduate programs. The session began with a review ‎and approval of the minutes of the previous meeting.‎
During the meeting, the Board discussed several topics related to graduate students enrolled ‎in the Master’s Program in Translation at the Department of Translation and Its ‎Applications. These included the approval of a master’s thesis defense result and the renewal ‎of thesis title approval minutes for a number of students.‎
The Board also approved several topics concerning the Language Teaching Department, ‎including endorsement of the outcomes of the workshop for developing the German ‎Language Teaching Program and approval of the updated study plan for the program. In ‎addition, the Board reviewed topics related to the Translation Unit and Student Affairs, ‎and issued the appropriate decisions accordingly
