\nThe Board of Directors of the Community Center for Translation and Language Teaching (CCTLT) at Sana\u2019a University held its first regular meeting for the 2025\/1446 academic year, chaired by Prof. Zaid Hassan Al-Wareeth, the Rector\u2019s Assistant for Centers\u2019 Affairs, on behalf of Prof. Mohammed Ahmed Al-Bukhaiti, the University Rector and Chairman of the Center’s Board of Directors.
\nThe meeting, attended by the Center\u2019s Director, Assoc. Prof. Ibraheem Tagaddeen, Deputy Director Dr. Yahya Obaid, heads of academic departments, representatives of foreign language programs, and postgraduate program coordinators, began with a note of appreciation to former University Rector and Chairman of Board of Director Prof. Al-Kasem Mohammed Abbas, for his commendable efforts in supporting and advancing the Center over the past years.
\nDuring the meeting, the BoD approved the proposed titles and research plans of five master\u2019s theses in the Department of Translation and Its Applications. The board also ratified the final result of a master’s thesis defense recently held in the same department.
\nDuring the session, members reviewed a number of topics related to the Language Teaching Department, the Translation Unit, and student affairs, and issued appropriate decisions accordingly.
\nThe meeting started with a review and approval of the minutes of the previous session.<\/h3>\n\n
