Sana\u2019a \u2013 Tuesday, December 9, 2025<\/p>\n

The Community Center for Translation and Language Teaching (CCTLT) at Sana\u2019a \u200eUniversity hosted a field visit today for twenty-eight third-year students \u200efrom the Translation \u200eDepartment at Al-Yemenia University, accompanied by Dr. Anhar Al-Ahmar. The visit \u200eformed part of an academic activity\u00a0 aimed at strengthening academic collaboration and \u200epromoting the exchange of expertise in the fields of ranslation and language teaching.\u200e<\/p>\n

The delegation was received by the Center\u2019s Director, Dr. Ibraheem Tagaddeen, the Head \u200eof the Translation Department, Dr. Abdulwadood Annuzaili, the Head of the Translation \u200eUnit, Dr. Faisal Aldawli, and the Public Relations Officer, Ms. Saba Al-Arshani. They \u200ewelcomed the students and provided a comprehensive overview of the Center\u2019s functions, \u200eservices, and training programs.\u200e<\/p>\n

As part of the program, the Center organized a workshop on general translation, introducing \u200etechniques, contemporary strategies, and the use of electronic tools and artificial intelligence \u200ein translation practice.\u200e<\/p>\n

Students were also briefed on the Center\u2019s broader activities in language teaching and \u200etranslation departments, their specialized training programs, and the services offered to \u200equalify learners and develop linguistic and translation skills.\u200e<\/p>\n

The visit included a guided tour in the Translation Unit, where students observed the \u200eworkflow of the document translation process and gained insight into the nature of tasks undertaken by \u200eprofessional translators. They were introduced to the challenges commonly encountered in the \u200efield and the standards and procedures applied to ensure accuracy and quality of translation.\u200e<\/p>\n

The Center\u2019s administration reaffirmed Sana\u2019a University\u2019s commitment to expanding \u200ecooperation with both public and private universities, with the aim of advancing translation \u200eprograms and improving the quality of educational outcomes and specialized translation \u200eservices in Yemen.\u200e<\/p>\n

This visit reflects the Center\u2019s ongoing efforts to provide training, capacity-building, and \u200eadvisory services to translation students and graduates across universities while offering \u200epractical learning opportunities aligned with modern developments and labor market needs.<\/p>\n\n
