<\/p>\nSana\u2019a University CCTLT Hosts Field Visit for Translation Students from Al-\u200eNasser University<\/p>\n

As part of its pioneering academic and community role, the Community Center for \u200eTranslation and language Teaching (CCTLT) at Sana\u2019a University hosted a field visit for \u200ea group of fifteen translation students from Al-Nasser University. The visit aimed to \u200eintroduce the Center\u2019s mission, specialized activities, and advanced training programs in \u200etranslation and language teaching.\u200e<\/p>\n
The visiting students were welcomed by the Center\u2019s Director, Prof. Ibraheem \u200eTagaddeen, the Head of the Translation Unit, Dr. Faisal Al-Dawli, and the Public \u200eRelations Officer, Ms. Saba Al-Arshani. They expressed their delight at the visit, \u200eemphasizing the importance of such initiatives in strengthening the integration between \u200eacademic theory and practical application, and in expanding opportunities for cooperation \u200eand communication between academic institutions.\u200e<\/p>\n
During the visit, the Director of the Center gave a comprehensive presentation outlining \u200ethe Center\u2019s functions, educational and service activities, and its role in serving the \u200ecommunity through professional translation services, linguistic capacity-building and \u200especialized training programs aligned with the needs of local and international labor \u200emarkets.\u200e<\/p>\n
The students were also introduced to the experiences of the Center\u2019s translators, the types \u200eof documents handled, and the mechanisms of processing and translation. They reviewed \u200ekey translation strategies and the practical challenges faced by translators faced in dealing \u200ewith diverse and specialized texts.\u200e<\/p>\n
The Translation Unit organized a short training workshop on general translation, covering \u200emodern techniques and methods, with a focus on the use of electronic tools and artificial \u200eintelligence technologies to support the translation process, enhance efficiency, and \u200eimprove quality\u2014reflecting the Center\u2019s commitment to keeping pace with rapid \u200edevelopments in the field.\u200e<\/p>\n

The visit also included a field tour of the Translation Unit, where students observed its \u200eworkflow, document-processing mechanisms, and the nature of the tasks carried out. \u200eThey were introduced to professional challenges as well as the standards and procedures \u200eadopted to ensure translation quality and accuracy at the highest professional levels.\u200e<\/p>\n
Center officials affirmed that this visit falls within Sana\u2019a University\u2019s strategic \u200eorientation toward expanding cooperation and partnership with public and private \u200euniversities. They stated that CCTLT contributes to the development of translation \u200eprograms, improvement of educational outcomes, advancement of specialized translation \u200eservices in Yemen, and reinforcement of the University\u2019s role in serving society and \u200ebuilding national capacities.\u200e<\/p>\n\n
