SANA’A – Tuesday, February 3, 2026 (Sha’aban 1447 AH).<\/p>\n

Within the activities of the the Department of Language Teaching, the Community Center for Translation and Language Teaching (CCTLT) organized a specialized workshop titled “Evidence-Based Strategies in Language Teaching: English as a Case in Point.” The session was presented by Mr. Mukram Al-Khoubi, in the presence of the Center\u2019s Director, Prof. Ibraheem Tagaddeen, and attended by advanced-level students from the English language program.
\nThe workshop aimed to transition students from traditional study methods to learning strategies backed by modern scientific research. It focused on illustrating common misconceptions regarding language acquisition and provided practical solutions for challenges encountered in listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills.<\/p>\n

\nIn his opening remarks, Prof. Tagaddeen emphasized the importance of adopting modern educational curricula rooted in applied research. He reaffirmed the Center\u2019s commitment to introducing innovative methodologies that enhance the educational process and elevate student performance. He commended the efforts of the trainer and the department in organizing such events that enhance the quality of the learning-teaching process in the center.
\nDuring the workshop, the trainer provided an extensive range of curated scientific resources and materials. These were specifically designed to enable participants to practice English in authentic contexts and prepare for rigorous academic and professional requirements.
\nParticipants expressed their appreciation for the program, noting that the workshop provided them with practical tools and clear roadmaps to develop their linguistic proficiency based on sound methodological foundations.
\nThis event is part of a series of activities organized by the CCTLT to enhance the skills of English and foreign language students while modernizing teaching mechanisms across the university.<\/p>\n\n
