The Administrative Council of the Community Center for Translation and Language \u200eTeaching (CCTLT) at Sana\u2019a University held its second regular meeting for the 1447 AH \u200e\u200e\/ 2026 academic year today, chaired by the Center Director, Prof. Ibraheem Tagaddeen, \u200eand attended by the Deputy Director, Dr. Yahya Obeid, the Center\u2019s advisors, heads of \u200edepartments, directors of administrative units, and heads of academic and administrative \u200edivisions.\u200e<\/p>\n
The meeting began with a review and approval of the previous session minutes, followed \u200eby extensive discussions of the periodic achievement reports submitted by the various \u200edepartments and units. Discussions focused on performance indicators and assessing the \u200eactual implementation levels of the plans and programs approved for the 2026\u20132027 \u200eacademic year.\u200e<\/p>\n
The Council also discussed several student-related issues, reviewing the progress of the \u200eeducational process and addressing matters related to services provided to students.\u200e<\/p>\n
In addition, the meeting addressed issues related to administrative development and \u200eways to overcome obstacles facing departments in carrying out their responsibilities.\u200e<\/p>\n
As part of efforts to support scientific research, ease financial burdens on researchers, and \u200eencourage enrollment in the Center\u2019s graduate programs, the Council members discussed \u200ea proposal to reduce graduate tuition fees, as well as a marketing plan to promote the \u200eCenter\u2019s programs and activities. The Council approved a package of recommendations \u200eand decisions in this regard to be forwarded to the Center\u2019s Board of \u200eDirectors and the University Presidency for appropriate action in line with available \u200eresources.\u200e<\/p>\n
At the end of the meeting, Prof. Ibraheem Tagaddeen stressed the importance of \u200estrengthening the values of institutional work, emphasizing that advancing the Center and \u200eachieving its academic and community objectives fundamentally depends on reinforcing \u200eintegration and harmony among all departments and administrative units in carrying out \u200etheir tasks, thereby ensuring the provision of high-quality education and translation \u200eservices. \u200e<\/p>\n\n
