As part of its ongoing commitment to bridging the gap between theory and practice, the \u200eCommunity Center for Translation and Language Teaching (CCTLT) at Sana’a University \u200econtinues to play a leading role in training and preparing translators and language \u200eprofessionals from universities across Yemen. In this context, the Center recently hosted a \u200edistinguished field visit by translation students from the University of Modern Sciences, \u200ereflecting its status as a premier academic and professional training institution.\u200e<\/p>\n

\nDuring the visit, Prof. Ibraheem Tagaddeen, Director of the Center, and Dr. Faisal Al-\u200eDawli, Head of the Translation Unit, delivered informative and engaging presentations \u200eon the art and fundamentals of translation with special focus on translation technology. They shared a wealth of practical insights and \u200eprofessional experiences drawn from various fields of translation, providing students with \u200ea valuable opportunity to gain first-hand exposure to the realities of the translation \u200eprofession.\u200e<\/p>\n

\nThe visit also included a guided tour of the Center\u2019s specialized Translation Unit, where \u200estudents observed the actual workflow involved in managing professional translation \u200eprojects and explored the wide range of documents handled by the Center. The tour \u200eoffered participants a realistic simulation of the professional translation workplace, \u200edemonstrating industry-standard practices and procedures.\u200e
\nProf. Ibraheem Tagaddeen emphasized the significant role of such field visits in \u200enarrowing the gap between academic learning and professional practice.
