The Community Center for Translation and Language Teaching (CCTLT) at Sana’a University hosted a group of translation students from Al-Andalus University, comprising twenty-one students accompanied by the head of the department, Dr. Nashwan Nashwan, on a field visit designed to bridge the gap between academic learning and practical experience in translation and language teaching.<\/p>\n

\nThe students were received by Mr. Adel Al-Hababi, the Rector\u2019s Assistant for Media Affairs; Prof. Ibraheem Tagaddeen, Center Director; and Dr. Faisal Al-Dwali, Head of the Translation Unit at the center.
\nDuring the visit, Prof. Tagaddeen and Dr. Al-Dwali delivered an introductory presentation on the fundamentals of translation, drawing on practical examples from a range of specialized fields. The students also toured the Translation Unit, where they were introduced to the Center’s day-to-day workflow and the various types of documents it handles, providing them with firsthand insight into a professional translation environment.<\/p>\n

\nMr. Adel Al-Hababi highlighted the Center’s important role in serving the community and fostering cooperation between academic institutions.
\nIn turn, the Center Director stressed the value of such field visits in giving students a clearer understanding of the practical side of their specialization. He reaffirmed the Center’s readiness to share its expertise and training capabilities with researchers and trainees.<\/p>\n
