The fixed and removable prosthodontics program is the first program in the Faculty of Dentistry, Sana'a University, after the removable prosthodontics program was the only one, and there was no demand for it. Due to the repeated requests from the academic staff and many dentists who wish to specialize in fixed and removable prosthodontics, and the increasing demand for this specialty locally and regionally, the Faculty of Dentistry, Sana'a University, offers a postgraduate program in this program in addition to the removable prosthodontics program that began with the start of the postgraduate program, to meet the urgent demand for providing professional and specialized services to the community. Furthermore, with the continuous search of dental graduates for opportunities to further their education specifically in the field of fixed and removable prosthodontics, the program is designed to graduate competent specialists capable of meeting the community's needs for fixed and removable prosthodontics. It is distinguished by the presence of a qualified academic staff that plays a key role in preparing the students who enroll. The program is a 3-year postgraduate program that includes theoretical, clinical and research modules.

The Prosthodontics Department seeks to prepare and qualify a high-level dental graduate capable of providing distinguished medical service at international levels in terms of diagnosis, treatment methods and surgical intervention, and providing an educational, academic, clinical and research environment in accordance with local and regional quality and accreditation standards and community service.

Preparing professional and academic cadres in the field of dental prosthetics and providing them with various knowledge, sciences and skills.
Working on the continuous development and updating of curricula and clinical research skills in the education of prosthodontics to keep pace with the needs of society.
To direct postgraduate programs capable of educating and training students to become competent doctors to perform therapeutic interventions related to various dental prosthetics.
Applying values, traditions and ethics in the practice of the dental profession and acquiring self-learning skills.
Participate in improving the performance of dentists through continuing education programs.
