Ms. Ishraq Abdulrabboh Manea Ali Al-Sayeh <\/strong>was awarded a Master\u2019s Degree in Orthodontics <\/strong>for her thesis titled: Evaluation of the Relationship Between Maxillary Central Incisors and the Incisive Canal: A Cone Beam Computed Tomography Study<\/em><\/strong>, <\/em>which was submitted to the Faculty of Dentistry\u2013 Sana\u2019a University. The MA defense was held on Thursday, December 18, 2025.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

The MA Viva-voce Committee, which was formed based on a resolution issued by the Graduate Studies and Scientific Research Council, consisted of the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

The study aimed to evaluate the anatomical relationship between the maxillary central incisors and the incisive canal using Cone-Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT), given its importance in accurate treatment planning for orthodontic and surgical cases.<\/p>\n

The study yielded a number of key findings summarized as follows:<\/p>\n

  • CBCT demonstrated high accuracy in assessing sensitive anatomical relationships within the maxillary region.<\/li>\n
  • The relationship between the central incisors and the incisive canal was confirmed as clinically significant, requiring careful consideration to avoid potential complications during treatment.<\/li>\n
  • CBCT was highlighted as a necessary and effective diagnostic tool for treatment planning.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    In light of these findings, the researcher recommended:<\/p>\n

    • Adopting CBCT as a primary evaluation tool in orthodontic cases requiring high anatomical precision.<\/li>\n
    • Increasing clinicians\u2019 awareness of the importance of this anatomical relationship in clinical practice.<\/li>\n
    • Conducting further studies on diverse population samples to expand the clinical evidence base.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      The defense session was attended by the Dean of the Faculty and a number of academics, researchers, students, colleagues, and the researcher\u2019s family.<\/p>\n
