Today marked the conclusion of the fifth scientific conference for students of Batch 46 of the Medical Laboratory Program at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, Sana’a University. The event was held under the patronage of the University President, Prof. Al Qasim Mohammed Abbas, and was attended by the Dean of the Faculty, the Vice Dean for Medical Laboratory along with several faculty members and staff from related colleges and research centers.<\/h4>\n

The Dean of the Faculty, Dr Khaled Al-Khamesy praised the organization and coordination of the conference and commended the students’ performance and their outstanding research, expressing gratitude to the academic staff supervising these projects. The Vice Dean, Prof. Anwar Al-Madhaji, welcomed the attendees and requested a moment of silence in memory of the late Prof. Ali Al-Mirri, who passed away last month, highlighting his significant contributions to the establishment and development of the faculty especially in the field. For her part, the conference chair, Prof. Huda Al-Shami, welcomed the attendees and thanked the participants and faculty members supervising the research.<\/h4>\n

The conference lasted for two days, during which the students’ graduation research was discussed, providing an opportunity for knowledge exchange and enhancing scientific research. The conference witnessed substantial participation from students who presented their research findings and scientific studies conducted during their academic years, covering a variety of topics in medical laboratory and health sciences.<\/h4>\n

Additionally, the conference included discussion sessions that allowed visitors and participants to interact with researchers and showcase findings and innovations in the field of laboratory medicine. In conclusion, Prof. Huda Al-Shami presented the conference recommendations, which received the approval of all attendees and the support of the administration for their study and implementation.<\/h4>\n

This scientific event is considered an important step towards developing research skills and critical thinking among students, contributing effectively to enhancing higher education in Yemen.<\/h4>\n
