Ms. Naseem Mohammed Abdu Al-Ahdal \u200e<\/strong>was awarded a Master\u2019s Degree with distinction in Critical Care Nursing <\/strong>for her thesis titled: The Impact of Educational Program on Intensive Care Unit Nurses Toward Endotracheal Tube Care at Al-Thawra Hospital in Sana\u2019a, Yemen<\/em><\/strong>, <\/em>which was submitted to the Department of Nursing, Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences\u2013 Sana\u2019a University. The MA defense was held on Sunday, May 17, 2026\u200e\u200e.<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The thesis aimed to:<\/h3>\n

    Evaluate the effect of an educational training program on the knowledge and practices of intensive care nurses regarding endotracheal tube care at Al-Thawra Hospital in Sana\u2019a.<\/h3>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    The study yielded several key findings summarized as follows:<\/h3>\n
      \n
    • \n

      The mean total knowledge scores increased after implementation of the training program from 21.79 \u00b1 4.34 to 25.28 \u00b1 3.02, while total practice scores improved from 83.95 \u00b1 36.12 to 124.55 \u00b1 43.42, with highly statistically significant differences.<\/h3>\n<\/li>\n
    • \n

      Significant improvements were observed in the knowledge and practice levels of intensive care nurses following the educational intervention, reflecting the effectiveness of the training program.<\/h3>\n<\/li>\n
    • \n

      Results of the McNemar-Bowker test demonstrated statistically significant differences in nurses\u2019 knowledge and practice levels before and after the educational intervention.\u200e<\/h3>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      In light of these findings, the researcher recommended the following:\u200e<\/h3>\n

        Continuing periodic educational and training programs for nursing staff working in intensive care units.<\/h3>\n<\/li>\n
      • \n

        Adhering to standard protocols, conducting regular competency assessments and evaluations, and continuously updating professional knowledge to ensure best practices in endotracheal tube care.<\/h3>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        The defense session was attended by a number of academics, researchers, students, colleagues, and the researcher\u2019s family.<\/h3>\n
