Human Rights and Polling Center (HRPC)
Contribution of the Human Rights Center to Community Issues:
- Conducting training and rehabilitation courses for some community associations.
- Organizing courses and workshops in university buildings.
- Offering human rights as a university requirement course.
- Activating the center’s role in the media and on online platforms.
- Conducting diverse studies on the current state of human rights in Yemen.
- Creating a database on agreements related to human rights at both the national and global levels.
Goals of the Center:
The center aims to achieve a set of qualitative goals, which include:
- Focusing on various human rights issues at both local and international levels to promote, preserve, and disseminate a societal culture that contributes to creating a new reality capable of effectively addressing future challenges and building a society based on justice, equality, and the rule of law.
- Researching and measuring public opinion across various political, economic, social, religious, cultural, scientific, technological, and civilizational fields.
- Accurately measuring trends in Yemeni public opinion to support decision-making related to numerous local, regional, and global economic, social, and political issues, as well as laws and decisions concerning various matters.
- Organizing activities and scientific conferences that elevate the significance of human rights issues and public opinion measurement to a level of priority that institutions and governmental and private bodies must consider.
- Providing training services and scientific rehabilitation programs for activists in the field of human rights and those interested in measuring public opinion.
- Offering specialized consultations with scientific rigor in various fields to assist national decision-making bodies, both governmental and private.
- Supporting scientific knowledge in the field of human rights and public opinion studies through scientific research, translation, and publication.
- Utilizing various available media tools to promote a culture of human rights among the Yemeni public.
- Publishing books, publications, and scientific journals related to studies and violations of human rights and public opinion research.
- Achieving mutual cooperation and joint coordination at the local, Arab, and international levels between the center and all governmental and non-governmental institutions, as well as similar scientific centers and forums, to benefit from information and modern methods in human rights studies, public opinion research, and measurement techniques, and to implement projects of mutual interest.
