Program Overview:
The Master’s program in Human Rights offered by the Center for Human Rights and Public Opinion Measurement at the University of Sana’a is the first of its kind among Yemeni universities and academic institutions. The program is available to holders of bachelor’s and license degrees from all disciplines.
The program includes a one academic year (preparatory) during which the student studies ten courses over two semesters. Following this, the student prepares their master’s thesis during the following year.
The student is awarded the master’s degree after defending their thesis, which they are eligible to discuss after the end of the second year.

The Master’s Program in Human Rights seeks to prepare well-qualified scholars capable of working efficiently in the field of human rights, demonstrating high-quality performance and proficiency, and contributing to the development of society.

Master's Program Aims:
Introducing students to the theories, concepts, and basic applications related to human rights.
Equipping students with the essential skills to practice human rights activities efficiently and effectively.
Developing students’ capacity regarding the application of human rights frameworks locally, regionally, and internationally.
Preparing researchers capable of conducting theoretical and applied research in the field of human rights and public opinion measurement.
Developing students’ abilities to identify research problems and to address them scientifically and methodologically.
Connecting the University with various community institutions by identifying their problems and providing scientific solutions to them.
Providing the labor market with highly qualified cadres who are capable of achieving better results.
Providing an opportunity for students who wish to continue their graduate studies in the field of human rights.
