The Center for Human Rights and Polling is one of the research and scientific centers operating within the University of Sana’a. The center was established by the university president’s decision No. (565) for the year 2007.<\/strong><\/h4>

Since its inception, the center has been managed by several academic colleagues and includes a distinguished group of faculty members and administrators. The center has carried out numerous academic activities, training programs, and events in the fields of human rights and public opinion measurement.<\/strong><\/h4>

A significant milestone for the center was the university council’s approval to open a graduate program, specifically in teaching the Master\u2019s degree in Human Rights. This program provides an opportunity for interested students to obtain a Master\u2019s degree in a field that is the first of its kind among Yemeni public and private universities, particularly from a prestigious institution like the University of Sana’a.<\/strong><\/h4>

The field of Human Rights is inherently interdisciplinary, encompassing numerous areas of the humanities. This opens the door for many students and researchers from specific disciplines to specialize in human rights after completing an intensive preparatory year that qualifies them to enter this field.<\/strong><\/h4>

Generally, the Master\u2019s program in Human Rights at the university includes ten subjects during the preparatory year, characterized by diversity in specialization. It covers the materials necessary to prepare students for the research process. Subsequently, students register their thesis topics after undergoing a scientific seminar.<\/strong><\/h4>

Practically, the field of human rights prepares specialists to work in local and international organizations related to this area. Under the supervision and collaboration of the Academic Development and Quality Assurance Center, the center has achieved significant progress in the academic accreditation program and will continue this important academic journey with the support of the Academic Development Center.<\/strong><\/h4>

Moreover, the center places special emphasis on public opinion monitoring. Following the successes it has achieved in previous periods in this area, it is currently undertaking studies and public opinion monitoring processes in collaboration with official and unofficial entities.<\/strong><\/h4>

Additionally, the center has several agreements and cooperation protocols with various official and unofficial institutions, and it is in the process of reactivating these to achieve their objectives.<\/strong><\/h4>

With its administration and academic staff, the center is committed to achieving its goals as one of the research centers operating within the University of Sana’a, in alignment with the university’s objectives, by God’s will and assistance.<\/strong><\/h4>
