This forms part of the approved fieldwork plan designed to practically qualify them within a professional media environment.<br \/>\nDuring their visits, the students were introduced to the mechanisms for editing news tickers, techniques for drafting news stories, and the process of preparing television reports. They also followed the detailed stages of editing a complete news bulletin inside the newsroom.<\/p>\n<p>The Channel\u2019s management tasked the trainees with editing several news items and preparing news reports, in addition to working on the production of an integrated news bulletin.
