Ms.Reema Shakeeb Ahmed Qasem \u200e\u200e<\/strong>was awarded a Master\u2019s Degree in Arabic Language (Rhetoric) <\/strong>with an average of Excellent and a grade of (95<\/strong>)for her thesis titled: Persuasive Discourse in Al-Fara\u2019id wa Al-Qala\u2019id by Abu Al-Hussein Mohammed ibn Hasan Al-Ahwazi (d. 436 AH)<\/em><\/strong>, which was submitted to the Department of Arabic Language, Faculty of Languages \u2013 Sana\u2019a University. The MA defense was held on Tuesday, December16, 2025.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The study aimedto uncover the persuasive structure of the discourse in Al-Fara\u2019id wa Al-Qala\u2019id.<\/p>\n

The study yielded a number of key findings summarized as follows:<\/p>\n

    \n
  • The discourse in Al-Fara\u2019id wa Al-Qala\u2019id<\/em> was identified as distinctively persuasive, grounded in an integrated system of language, syntactic structure, imagery, rhythm, and context.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    In light of these findings, the researcher recommended:<\/p>\n

      \n
    • Encouraging further research on Arabic literary heritage through the lens of modern rhetoric (New Rhetoric).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      The defense session was attended by a number of academics, researchers, students, colleagues, and the researcher\u2019s family.<\/p>
