Today, the external review team concluded its three-day field visit to the Sharia and Law Program at Sana\u2019a University. Throughout the visit, the team held numerous meetings and interviews with representatives to evaluate the program\u2019s adherence to academic standards. In addition, the team inspected the program\u2019s facilities and resources, including classrooms, the control room, the library, the virtual courtroom, sports facilities, and other program-related amenities.<\/p>\n
At the conclusion of the visit, Prof. Abdulaziz Al-Shuaibi, Deputy Chairman of CAQA, expressed his sincere gratitude and appreciation to the review team, led by Prof. Mohammed Al-Harazi, and its members, Assoc. Prof. Qaid Qaid Musaad and Dr. Basheer Al-Emad, for their diligent efforts and commitment throughout the visit. He also extended his thanks to the university leadership, represented by Prof. Al-Kasem Mohammed Abass, the faculty administration for their facilitation of the team\u2019s mission, and the Dean of the Center for Academic Development and Quality Assurance for their support.<\/p>\n
Prof. Mohammad Dhaifullah, Secretary-General of CAQA, emphasized the importance of accreditation and detailed the procedures that CAQA will follow after the field visit. He also underscored the responsibilities that the university and faculty must uphold moving forward.<\/p>\n
In addition, Prof. Abdulrahman Al-Saafani, Director-General of Evaluation and Head of the CAQA\u2019s Expert Team, provided an overview of the accreditation process. He elaborated on the steps undertaken by the CAQA, starting from the issuance of the ministerial decision through to the final announcement of the accreditation results.<\/p>\n
Prof. Mohammed Al-Harazi, Head of the External Review Team, reviewed the field visit plan, its implementation mechanisms, and the key strengths and weaknesses identified in the program.<\/p>\n
Prof. Mohammed Nijad, Dean of the Faculty of Sharia and Law, delivered a speech in which he commended the efforts of the review team during their visit and praised the CAQA\u2019s contributions to improving the quality of education. He highlighted the CAQA\u2019s pivotal role in monitoring educational institutions and enhancing their standards through field visits, technical support, consultancy services, and continuous follow-up.<\/p>\n
The meeting was attended by Prof. Huda Al-Emad, Dean of the Center for Academic Development and Quality Assurance at Sana\u2019a University; Mr. Nasr Madar, a member of the support team; Dr. Mohsen Al-Hazmi, Director of Follow-Up at CAQA; Dr. Abdulkhaliq Mizeb, Vice Dean for Student Affairs; Dr. Mohammed Al-Mahbashi, Vice Dean for Quality Affairs; faculty members; and a number of students from the Faculty of Sharia and Law.<\/p>\n\n
