Faculty of Science at Sana’a University Launches New Academic Year

Under the auspices of Sana’a University Rector, Prof. Mohammed Al-Bukhaiti, the Faculty of ‎Science officially inaugurated the new academic year 1447 Hijri (2025-2026) today, with an on-site ‎event led by the Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Mohammed Saleh Qusayla, along with several Deputy ‎Deans, department heads, academic staff, and administrative personnel.‎

The inauguration included an inspection tour of the Faculty’s lecture halls, laboratories, and various ‎facilities. This tour aimed at assessing the level of attendance and discipline on the first day of ‎classes, and ensured the educational environment was fully prepared to welcome students.‎

During the tour, Prof. Qusayla emphasized the importance of maintaining daily cleanliness ‎throughout the Faculty premises. He instructed the contracted cleaning company to carry out its ‎responsibilities diligently and ensure that all facilities and classrooms are properly maintained on a ‎daily basis. ‎

The Dean expressed his appreciation for the commitment demonstrated by both academic and ‎administrative staff, praising their strong sense of responsibility and belonging to the Faculty of ‎Science. He also welcomed the students, wishing them a successful and enriching academic year, ‎and reaffirmed the Faculty’s role as the “mother of all science faculties” and a source of innovation ‎and creativity.‎

Prof. Qusayla encouraged students to broaden their scientific horizons and raise their aspirations in ‎line with global advancements and Yemen’s intellectual presence on the international stage. He ‎stressed that the primary purpose of education is the acquisition of knowledge, not merely the ‎pursuit of grades.‎
