Under the auspices of the Dean of the College of Science, Dr. Muhammad Qasila, the Community Service Unit held this Saturday 25\/ Rajab\/ 1446 corresponding to 1\/25\/2025 training workshops entitled: Academic publishing in the magazines classified in Scopes: steps and strategies. In the hall of the late \/Thabet Al -Hamidi, which was delivered by Dr. Amira Ali Al -Harthi
\nDuring the workshop, the doctor explained that academic publishing is an important way to spread knowledge and exchange ideas among researchers. Scopes magazines are one of the most famous platforms that allow researchers to spread their academic works due to their strict standards and high quality in published research.
\nAnd I mentioned d. Amira that the steps and strategies of academic publishing for research include the following:
\nChoose the right magazine:
\nThe first step in academic publishing is to choose the right magazine to publish the research. It is recommended to search for magazines that suit the topic of research and ensure that they are indexed in Scopes. Sucops databases can be used to verify this.
\nPreparing the research paper:
\nWriting the research paper must be according to the criteria and method of the target magazine. It is important to include all basic parts such as introduction, literature review, methodological, results, discussion, conclusion, and reference menu. You should also be sure to use an accurate and sound scientific language.
\nReview and arbitration of the paper:
\nBefore submitting the paper to the magazine, it is preferable to conduct an internal review with colleagues or experts in the field to get notes and tips for improving quality. Self -arbitration helps to avoid errors and improve the paper before sending it to publish.
