The Faculty of Science at Sana’a University hosted an introductory seminar this Wednesday morning for faculty members and teaching assistants. Sponsored by the Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Dr. Mohammad Saleh Qassilah, the seminar highlighted the objectives and core themes of the upcoming “Yemeni Medicinal Honey Conference.”<\/p>\n
Opening the seminar, Prof. Dr. Mohammad Saleh Qassilah welcomed the attendees and commended the scientific and research momentum driving the conference preparations. In his address, he emphasized the critical importance of this event in showcasing the unique scientific and therapeutic value of Yemeni honey. He also noted its vital role in building bridges for collaborative research between academic institutions and the agricultural and production sectors.<\/p>\n
Furthermore, Mr. Abdulrahman Al-Alfi, Secretary-General of the Conference, outlined the strategic vision and general objectives of the event. He reviewed its main themes and projected impact on supporting and expanding scientific research related to Yemeni medicinal honey as a national product of global value. In the same context, Dr. Mueen Al-Mutawakel, Chairman of the Organizing Committee, provided a briefing on the ongoing arrangements, preparations, and logistical efforts underway to ensure the conference’s success in a manner that reflects the university’s prestigious standing.<\/p>\n
Prof. Dr. Hassan Ibrahim, Chairman of the Scientific Committee, gave a comprehensive and detailed presentation on the conference’s rigorous scientific tracks and the academic criteria established for research submissions and participation. He outlined the expected outcomes, network of scientific partnerships, and promising research opportunities that the conference offers to scholars and specialists.<\/p>\n
Concluding the seminar, Prof. Dr. Qais Yousef Mohammad Abdullah delivered an orientation speech, urging faculty members and researchers to engage dynamically and contribute their specialized research papers to the conference.
