Medical Affairs Conducts Inspection Visit to the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Dr. Abdulhafidh Thawabah, Assistant Vice Rector for Medical Faculties and Hospitals, conducted an official inspection visit to the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine today. The visit aimed to evaluate the progress of the educational process, review institutional infrastructure, and assess academic activities and student services as part of the University\u2019s ongoing commitment to quality assurance and academic excellence.<\/div>\n
Upon his arrival, Dr. Thawabah was received by Dr. Abdulraqeeb Al-Shami, the Faculty Dean, and Dr. Saleh Al-Omaisi, Vice Dean for Student Affairs and Community Service. The Dean provided a comprehensive briefing on the Faculty\u2019s establishment and strategic objectives, emphasizing its vital role in qualifying national veterinary professionals. He noted that as an agricultural nation, Yemen faces a critical shortage of veterinary experts, making the Faculty\u2019s mission essential for supporting the agricultural sector and the national economy.<\/div>\n
Accompanied by the Dean and Vice Dean, Dr. Thawabah toured various scientific departments, lecture halls, and laboratories. During the tour, he praised the significant progress achieved by the Faculty despite its recent establishment, commending the faculty and administrative staff for their dedication to enhancing the learning environment.<\/div>\n
During the visit, Dr. Thawabah underscored several key priorities for the Faculty’s future growth:<\/div>\n
– Ensuring the fulfillment of necessary equipment and laboratory facilities to meet high academic standards.<\/div>\n
– Continuous updating of academic programs to keep pace with international veterinary standards.<\/div>\n
– Expanding outreach programs to highlight the vital role of veterinary medicine in protecting livestock and ensuring national food security.<\/div>\n
