Academic Development and Quality Assurance Center
The Training and Technical Support Unit is responsible for providing training, technical support, and professional development for faculty members, assistants, as well as administrative and technical staff, in accordance with the professional development requirements to achieve quality and academic accreditation for the University.
Duties and Responsibilities of the Training and Technical Support Unit:
- Establishing a system for training and professional development at the University.
- Developing rules and regulations for the training process.
- Preparing and implementing training plans.
- Developing the skills of faculty members, assistants, and administrative staff at the University.
- Implementing University training plans in the field of quality assurance, ensuring its development and performance improvement.
- Enhancing the level of the academic, administrative, and technical staff within the University according to the University’s training needs.
- Enhancing and upgrading the training and professional development system.
- Developing a long-term plan for preparing and implementing training programs included in the Center’s plan.
- Participating in preparing the training budget.
- Determining the methodologies and fundamentals of training programs.
- Establishing the necessary procedures and standards to enhance the effectiveness of the programs proposed by the Center.
- Designing and preparing training programs tailored to meet the training needs of University leaders, faculty members, and University staff.
- Undertaking assigned tasks within the framework of training and development in the University.
- Providing technical support to colleges and scientific centers in accordance with the standards of the Council for Academic Accreditation and Quality Assurance of Higher Education.
- Assisting colleges in obtaining programmic or institutional academic accreditation.
