The University Rector Inspects the Mechanisms of Fulfilling Self-Evaluation Requirements of the Faculties
Sana’a University Rector, Prof. Al-Qassim Mohammed Abass visited the Academic Development and Quality Assurance Center (ADQA) on Wednesday 15/12/2021.
On his weekly visit to the Center, on the Quality Day, specified by the Center every Wednesday, Prof. Al-Qassim met the Dean of the Center, Prof. Huda Al-Emad, who explained to him the mechanisms for handing over the files of the Academic Program Standards in all faculties and the specified timing for receiving them.
The Rector was briefed on the mechanisms of the detailed review of the aforementioned files in accordance with the established criteria and indicators, so that they would be submitted for the Council for Accreditation & Quality Assurance for approval. He was also briefed on the requirements of the Eighth Standard in the Academic Program Standards and the need for developing an improvement plan.
Prof. Al-Qassim commended the efforts exerted by the faculties’ teams who prepared the academic program standards, and the efforts of the staff of the Academic Development and Quality Assurance Center for following up and reviewing all standards and the self-evaluation requirements in accordance with the standards of the academic accreditation and quality assurance.
The meeting was attended by the Unit Heads of the Center, Faculties Vice-Deans for Quality Assurance and representatives of the University faculties.
