Completing the Alignment of the Academic Programs and Study Courses of the Four Faculties of Education, Sana’a University
[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Under the auspices of the Rector of the University, Prof. Al-Qassim Mohammed Abass, the workshops of the alignment of the academic programs and study courses of the Faculties of Education (Faculty of Education-Sana’a, Faculty of Education-Al-Mahweet, Faculty of Education-Khawlan, and Faculty of Education-Arhab) were completed in the Academic Development and Quality Assurance Center of Sana’a University at the beginning of December 2021.
The implemented workshops were conducted with a view to aligning the academic programs and study courses of the University’s faculties of education with each other by unifying the titles of academic program courses and adjusting the study plans to overcome the irregularities incompatible with the procedures for meeting quality requirements.
In the final workshop attended by Dr. Huda Al-Emad, the Dean of the Academic Development and Quality Assurance Center, deans of faculties, their deputies for quality assurance and heads of departments of the four faculties of education, Dr. Ali Shamlan, the workshop’s trainer, reviewed the workshop material. There were a number of activities, discussions and interventions.
The participants, including the deans, their deputies and heads of departments, were divided into ten groups to discuss the program courses and study plans. The discussions and deliberations resulted in new ideas and observations that will be used to modify the titles of the program courses and study plans in order to achieve the desired goals of quality.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
