The Art of Preparing Legal Defenses at the Center for Educational and Psychological Counseling

On Thursday, January 16, 2025, a discussion session titled “The Art of Preparing Legal Defenses (2)” was held at the Center for Educational and Psychological Counseling at Sana’a University, as part of a series of free workshops organized by the center.

The session covered the following topics: juvenile cases, labor cases, lawsuits related to labor issues, cases involving petroleum violations, lawsuits and disputes related to electricity, construction-related cases, tourism disputes, income tax-related cases, arbitration issues, petitions for the dismissal of an arbitrator, cases and petitions handled by primary tax courts, cases related to the sale of seized assets, tax evasion-related violations, and issues related to illegal gain and enrichment.

The event witnessed significant attendance from lawyers, graduate students, and undergraduate students from the Faculty of Sharia and Law, in addition to judicial enforcement officers, interested individuals, and administrative staff from the judiciary. The session was also attended by the head of the Sharia and Legal Claims Association, the general secretary of the Sharia Agents Union, a representative from Dhamar University, and a representative from the office of Judge Ahmed Ghouth Al-Din.

The session was presented by legal expert and international trainer Dr. Ahmed Abdul Wahab Al-Akwa, with participation from Prof. Dr. Fathi Al-Saqaf, the center’s director, who discussed key skills and methods related to presenting evidence in civil cases, adding significant academic value for the participants.
