The PhD dissertation seminar was presented by Ms. Laila Hafdhallah Saleh Juraid Al-Ansi, titled: &#8220;Production of Nano-Iron Fertilizer and Study of its Effect on Some Soil Properties and Carrot Plant Growth.&#8221;<br \/>In the session, the researcher explored methods for producing nano-iron fertilizer using modern diagnostic and preparation techniques. She emphasized the importance of moving towards sustainable methods in fertilizer production, viewing them as a safer and more environmentally friendly alternative compared to traditional chemical fertilizers, which pose an increasing burden on human health and the ecosystem.<br \/>The study also investigated the impact of using nano-fertilizer on some physical and chemical properties of the soil, and its reflections on carrot plant growth. This research aims to enhance agricultural yield through modern scientific advancements that align with sustainable agricultural goals.<br \/>The session was attended by several faculty members, members of the Scientific Integrity Committee, researchers, and postgraduate students. Participants highlighted the importance of applied research in supporting agricultural development. Through this event, the university administration reaffirmed its commitment to encouraging scientific studies that contribute to the development of the agricultural sector and serve the environment
