Third-year students in the Plant Protection Department recently carried out a practical activity as part of their “Plant Pathogenic Pesticides” course. The activity focused on the isolation and diagnosis of pathogenic agents from several agricultural crops, with the primary focus being the detection of fungi and bacteria responsible for plant diseases using precise laboratory techniques.
This hands-on exercise was designed to achieve the following key educational goals:- Training students in the sequential steps of isolation and laboratory diagnosis.
– Enhancing their skills in distinguishing between fungal and bacterial causative agents.
– Connecting theoretical knowledge with practical application in the field of plant protection.<\/h3>

The students demonstrated significant engagement with the experiment, which is considered a crucial step in preparing them for the agricultural and research job market.<\/h3>
