As part of its commitment to strengthening practical training and linking theoretical \u200eknowledge with real-world applications, the Faculty of Agriculture organized a scientific \u200efield trip for fourth-level students of the Department of Food Science and Nutrition to \u200ethe Shamlan Mineral Water Factory, under the supervision of Engineer Yasmin Al-Sharif. \u200e<\/h3>

The visit aimed to familiarize students with the stages of bottled water production, \u200ebeginning with purification using advanced filtration technologies, followed by mixing \u200eand adjustment of mineral ratios, and then chlorination to ensure quality and safety. \u200e<\/h3>

Students also observed the second production line, where plastic bottles are \u200ethermoformed, subsequently filled with water, tightly sealed, and treated with ozone gas \u200eto enhance sterilization. The bottles are stored for three days prior to market release, \u200eduring which final tests are conducted to ensure compliance with quality standards. \u200e<\/h3>

This visit forms part of a series of field activities organized by the Faculty, reflecting its \u200ebelief in the importance of practical training in preparing qualified female cadres capable \u200eof meeting labor market demands in the fields of food science and safety.<\/h3>
