SANAA, Yemen \u2014 April 5, 2026 \u2014 Faculty of Agriculture, Food, and Environment is actively advancing its intensive preparations to launch its annual Summer Training Program for students across all disciplines. The initiative is part of the Faculty\u2019s strategic plan to boost hands-on learning and provide a comprehensive environment that builds students’ practical and professional skills. \nAs part of these efforts, the Faculty held a series of coordination meetings over the last three days involving faculty leadership and program coordinators. The first day featured department-specific supervisor meetings, followed by a general session for all training supervisors on the second day. The three-day series concluded with direct meetings between supervisors and students to discuss implementation mechanisms and ensure the program runs efficiently. \nOn Saturday, the Associate Dean for Environmental Affairs led a comprehensive meeting with all training supervisors. The session was followed by a site visit to the Faculty\u2019s educational farm to allocate specific plots for each department and assess the equipment and resources needed for optimal preparation. This collaborative approach aims to maximize the educational use of the farm and provide students with a fully integrated, hands-on training environment. \nTo ensure students are fully prepared, the Faculty will host upcoming orientation sessions. These meetings will outline the scope of the summer program and clarify expectations and required tasks before training begins.<\/h3>\n
Faculty leadership emphasized that these early preparations are vital for delivering a high-quality program that offers genuine, real-world experience to sharpen students’ field skills. The meeting concluded by stressing the importance of ongoing interdepartmental cooperation to ensure full readiness for the incoming student cohort.<\/h3>\n
