During this event, Sheikh Khaled Musa emphasized that the observance of the first Friday of Rajab is a significant day recognized by God, during which He honored notable individuals by bestowing upon them a medal of great distinction. He noted that the noble Prophet referred to the people of Yemen as possessing the most compassionate and gentle hearts, asserting that faith and wisdom are inherent to Yemeni identity.
Sheikh Musa further articulated that Rajab Friday serves as a profound occasion that embodies the values of truth, sacrifice, and generosity. He described it as a medal conferred by the Messenger of God upon the people of Yemen, highlighting that this academic institution symbolizes a connection rooted in faith, education, and moral integrity. He underscored the importance of reinforcing and celebrating the Yemeni faith identity within this context.
Additionally, Sheikh Musa remarked that the honor bestowed by the noble Prophet upon this esteemed community is a recognition of their enduring role in upholding the banner of Islam since the inception of the Muhammadan Dawa’a to the present day. He referenced the divine promise that God would bring forth a people whom He loves and who reciprocate that love, characterized by humility towards believers and strength against non-believers—qualities that have been evident in their faith-based actions.
