Conclusion of the Workshops for Reviewing, Specifying, Updating, and Developing Academic Programs at Faculty of Arts & Humanities

Date: Wednesday, 20 Sha’aban 1446 Hijri
The series of workshops dedicated to the review of strategic directions, the specification of diploma programs for non-specialists, and the development and updating of BA and PhD programs culminated today. These workshops spanned a duration of four days, with the final session focusing on the specification of diploma programs for non-specialists, held in the Faculty Library Hall.
During the closing ceremony, Prof. Abdulmalik Eissa, Dean of the Faculty, expressed his gratitude to the employers and participants for their engagement throughout the workshops. He also extended heartfelt thanks to his vices, the organizing committee, department heads, faculty members, and administrative staff, acknowledging that their collective efforts were instrumental in ensuring the success of the workshops.
Dr. Fahd Al-Ahmadi, Vice Dean for Quality Affairs, presented a summary of the key outcomes achieved during the four-day workshops, which included:
1. A review of the Faculty’s strategic directions, encompassing (vision and mission).
2. An update and development of (13) BA programs.
3. The inaugural specification of diploma programs for non-specialists across (11) departments.
4. The development and updating of PhD programs within (12) departments.
In conclusion, the Dean of the Faculty and his Vices recognized the contributions of participants from both the labor market and academic departments by honoring them at the end of the ceremony.
