The Department of Geography and Geoformatics, Faculty of Arts and Humanities is pleased to announce an upcoming seminar dedicated to the examination of PhD proposals submitted by the following candidates:
1. Ms. Amal Hassan Abdulrahman Hamidaddin will present her PhD proposal titled “The Impact of Climate Change on Human Comfort and Health in the City of Sana’a for the Period 2004-2024: A Study in Applied Climatology.”
2. Ms. Ruqayyah Saleh Hussein Al-Hadashi will discuss her PhD proposal titled “Spatial Analysis of Groundwater and Its Relationship to the Spread of Diseases in Amran Directorate.”
3. Ms. Hind Mansour Saleh Al-Sudi will present her PhD proposal titled “Sustainable Development of Habitats and Marine Life on the Western Coast of the Red Sea: Monitoring Environmental Impacts Using Geoformatics Technology.”
The seminar is scheduled for Monday, September 2, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. in the Soil Laboratory.
