Public Seminar of the MA Proposal Presented by Ms. Abeer Mansour Ali Al-Raim, from the Department of Social Work, Faculty of Arts & Humanities, Sana’a University.
On Thursday, October 10, 2024, the Social Work Department at the Faculty of Arts & Humanities convened to review the research proposal submitted by Ms. Abeer Mansour Ali Al-Raim, an MA candidate in the Social Work Department. Her proposal, entitled “The Relationship Between Women’s Employment and Family Issues: An Empirical Study of Working Women at Sana’a University from an Individual Service Perspective”
The seminar featured the participation of several distinguished faculty members, including:
Professor Sakina Ahmed Hashem, Vice Dean for Community Service Affairs and Head of the Department of Social Work.
Dr. Fahd Al-Ahmadi, Vice Dean for Quality Affairs;
Dr. Taher Al-Hazmi, Head of the Department of Psychology;
Dr. Mohammad Al-Attab, Head of Control within the Faculty;
Dr. Taha Al-Awbali from Ibb University;
Dr. Howayda Al-Shaiba, who attended via Zoom as a representative from Egypt.
Additionally, various faculty members from both the Social Work Department and other departments within the college were present.
During the seminar, the candidate presented the research proposal and its components, after which it was subjected to an extensive discussion among the attending faculty members. The discussion proved to be productive, offering valuable insights for both the student and the participants within the field of specialization. Ultimately, the research proposal submitted by Mr. Ibrahim Mahmoud Al-Sheikh received formal approval with some adjustments.
