In its fifth meeting held on Tuesday, November 12, 2024, the Council of the Faculty of Arts & Humanities at Sana’a University established two committees tasked with the evaluation of the Faculty’s strategic plan and institutional identity. This evaluation encompasses the articulation of the Faculty’s vision, goals, mission, and values, with the objective of refining these elements to enhance the academic and scientific framework of the Faculty. This initiative aligns with Sana’a University’s overarching goal of achieving quality and academic accreditation.
The first committee, chaired by the Vice Dean for Quality Assurance, is responsible for reviewing the college’s strategic plan, vision, mission, goals, and values. In parallel, the second committee, led by the Vice Dean for Graduate Studies, is charged with developing a comprehensive research map for the college that is aligned with the broader university research agenda.
The formation of these committees is indicative of the Faculty’s commitment to attaining national leadership in education, learning, and scientific research. Furthermore, it aims to foster an environment that encourages creativity and enhances quality within the Faculty of Arts & Humanities. Additionally, the committees are tasked with advancing the research plan in areas of both national and global significance, addressing theoretical and applied dimensions to effectively serve societal needs and promote sustainable development.
