On Thursday, November 28, 2024, the Social Work Department of the College of Arts and Humanities convened to discuss the research proposal submitted by Mr. Omar Muhammad Ghaleb Radman Al-Sufi. The proposed study is titled: “Obstacles to Professional Preparation of Social Workers in Individual Case Management: An Applied Study of Social Workers in Childhood Institutions in the Capital Secretariat of Sana’a”
The seminar was attended by Prof. Sukina Ahmed Hashem, Vice Dean for Community Service Affairs and Head of the Social Work Department, along with several faculty members from both the Social Work Department and other departments within the college.
During the seminar, the student provided an overview of his research proposal and its components. Following his presentation, the proposal was subjected to a thorough discussion among the attending faculty members. This dialogue proved to be productive, yielding valuable insights for both the student and participants regarding the specialized field. Ultimately, the research proposal received formal approval at the conclusion of the discussion.
