Public PhD Viva-Voce Examination of Mr. Ali Ahmed Yahya Al-Mannaqi, from the Department Arabic Language and Literature, Faculty of Arts & Humanities – Sana’a University
The Vice-Rector’s Office for Post-Graduate Studies and Scientific Research hereby announces the public defense of the PhD dissertation submitted by Mr. Ali Ahmed Yahya Al-Mannaqi, from the Department of Arabic Language and Literature, Faculty of Arts & Humanities – Sana’a University, titled: “A Study of the Linguistic Principles of Al-Hasan bin Ahmad Al-Jalal with the Verification of His Commentary on ‘Al-Kashaf'”
The dissertation had beem conducted under the supervision of Prof. Ibrahim Mohammed Said Al-Selwi Professor of Linguistics (Syntax and Morphology) Sana’a University, Main Supervisor; and Dr. Ibtisam Hussein Ahmed Al-Mutawakil, Assistant Professor of Linguistics, Sana’a University, Co-Supervisor.
The Viva-Voce Committee, which was formed based on a resolution issued by the Post-Graduate Studies and Scientific Research Council, consisted of the following:
1. Prof. Abdulkarim Musleh Ahmed Al-Bahla, External Examiner, Dhamar University, Chair.
2. Prof. Ibrahim Mohammed Said Al-Selwi, Main Supervisor, Sana’a University, Member.
3. Prof. Ahmed Hassan Hassan Al-Arousi Internal Examiner, Sana’a University, Member.
The Viva-Voce is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, Shawwal 11, 1446 Hijri corresponding to April 9, 2025, in Al-Samad Hall, Faculty of Computer & InformationTechnology, Sana’a University, (New Campus) commencing at 10:00 AM.
