PhD Dissertation Proposal Presentation for Mr. Khaled Al-Ibrahimi
Sana’a, Yemen – The Department of Islamic Studies at the Faculty of Arts and Humanities, Sana’a University, held a seminar on September 1, 2025, corresponding to 9 Rabi’ al-Awwal 1447 Hijri, to present the PhD Dissertation proposal of Mr. Khaled Hussein Saleh Al-Ibrahimi.
The proposal, titled “Sources of Sharia Policy and Its Purposes in Safeguarding Private Property in Islamic Jurisprudence and Yemeni Law : A Comparative Study,” was supervised by Prof. Mohammed Yahya Al-Makhethi.
The presentation and evaluation committee included the following members:

During the session, the candidate presented his dissertation plan, detailing the study’s objectives, significance, methodology, and theoretical framework.
Following an extensive discussion by the committee members, the research plan was approved. The committee praised the candidate’s efforts and highlighted the importance of the thesis topic in supporting Sharia policy for protecting private property within Islamic thought. The seminar was attended by a number of academics and postgraduate students from the department
