Faculty of Arts and Humanities Holds Fourth Meeting for the Academic Year 2025 – 2026

The Council of Faculty of Arts and Humanities at Sana’a University held its fourth meeting for the academic year 2025–2026 on Sunday morning, October 12, 2025, corresponding to Rabee’ Al-Thani 20, 1447 Hijri.
The meeting was chaired by the Faculty Dean Prof. Abdulmalek Mohammed Issa, and attended by the Heads of Scientific Departments and Council members.
The Council reviewed and approved a number of important academic and administrative matters, most notably:
• Discussing and approving the promotion of several faculty members to higher academic ranks, and initiating the promotion procedures.
• Confirming the academic status of several faculty members who have completed their probation period.
• Approving the registration of a number of Master’s theses and PhD dissertations in various scientific majors within the Faculty.
• Adopting a Grade Point Average (GPA) Improvement Diploma Program for several departments.
In conclusion, the Dean praised the efforts of the Scientific Departments and the faculty members in advancing the educational and research process. He affirmed the Faculty’s commitment to enhancing the quality of its academic programs and serving the community.
