هذا البرنامج يتكون من سنة تمهيدي (فصليين دراسيين) وسنة لإعداد رسالة ماجستير، حيث يدرس الطلاب 10 مقررات إجبارية خلال السنة التمهيدي تمكنهم من مواصلة تعليمهم العالي والحصول على فرص أكبر في سوق العمل. ويعتبر البرنامج من برامج التعلم العالي الفريدة في اليمن، ويركز في مضمونة على اللغة الإنجليزية وعلومها وآدابها، وكذلك على تنمية القدرات البحثية لدى الطلاب والعمل الجماعي والتعلم الذاتي. ويتميز البرنامج عن البرنامج السابق من خلال إضافة مقرر القواعد التوظيفية (Functional Grammar) ومقرر تحليل الخطاب (Discourse Analysis)، وهما مقرران مهمان لتخصص في مجال الترجمة والدراسات الأدبية واللغوية، وبذلك يقدم البرنامج للطلاب فرص أكبر للقيام بمهام عملية وتحاليل نقدية تعتمد على الجانب النظري.
Mission
The program seeks to provide a distinguished level of academic knowledge and advanced professional skills in the English language, translation studies, and literature. It aims to empower students to pursue doctoral-level education and equip them with the capability to deliver community-oriented services by fulfilling the needs of the local labor market, whether in the field of teaching or translation.

Program Aims :
The program aims to:
- Providing students with academic knowledge and proficiency in their field of study in the English language, literature, and translation.
- Equipping students with the required knowledge and skills to conduct scholarly research in their field of study, demonstrating their deep understanding of research methodologies and tools, through conducting research projects and papers.
- Enabling students to apply critical thinking skills by analyzing linguistic and literary texts using diverse analytical frameworks.
- Familiarizing students with various literary forms and theories of English linguistics and translation.
- Enriching the students’ cultural awareness and enhancing their intercultural communication skills through the study of literary texts from different cultures.
- Developing students’ lifelong learning skills and instilling a spirit of collaboration and teamwork.
