Memorandum of Understanding between Sana’a University and the National Documentation Center<\/h4>\n

In commemoration of the anniversary of the birth of the Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be upon Him and His Family), Professor Al-Qasim Mohammad Abbas, Rector of Sana’a University, accompanied by Professor Abdulmalik Eissa, Dean of the Faculty of Arts & Humanities, and Professor Dr. Abdulhakim Al-Hijri, Head of the Department of History and International Relations within the Faculty of Arts & Humanties, visited the National Documentation Center at the Presidency of the Republic of Yemen Today, Sunday, 6 Rabi’ al-Awwal 1446 Hijri correspondening to September 9, 2024.<\/h4>\n

During this visit, the Rector of Sana’a University received an overview of the center’s activities from its director, Professor Abdullah Hashem Al-Sayani, in the presence of the center’s deputy, Dr. Fouad Al-Shami, as well as other leadership and staff members.<\/h4>\n

At the conclusion of the visit, a Memorandum of Understanding was formalized between the two institutions. The agreement was signed by Professor Al-Qasim Mohammad Abbas on behalf of Sana’a University and by Professor Abdullah Hashem Al-Sayani on behalf of the National Documentation Center.<\/h4>\n

The memorandum establishes a framework for collaboration aimed at enhancing joint programs and activities related to the fields of history, library sciences, documentation, and other relevant disciplines at Sana’a University. Furthermore, it outlines plans to organize training courses and workshops focused on document archiving and preservation, leveraging the expertise and experience of specialists at the National Documentation Center.<\/h4>\n
